- Commitment – negotiated project work between 18 May -26th June including attendance at skills workshops on Wednesdays and Thursdays each week
- 10 places available
Through this Third Term activity you will learn the basics of audio and video capture, and more advanced understanding of composition, and techniques to ensure that you capture footage which is professional and dynamic.
You will also learn about the processes of footage processing, editing and post-production to take raw footage into a compelling final film. These skills will be developed through a combination of scheduled on campus workshops and more flexible online LinkedIn Learning courses.
You will apply this learning in capturing the events and experiences that happen during the Third Term, creating films which communicate the programme’s impact effectively. This will require you to attend on campus and off campus events (expenses provided) and to work in the university’s edit suites using Adobe Premiere.
Students who already have experience and skills in visual storytelling are very welcome to participate in this activity. In these cases, you will co-facilitate the skills workshops to support your peers, and undertake some ‘advanced challenges’.
