Jude Christian is a theatre-maker, and Associate Director of HOME, who believes passionately about the power of live-performance, and particularly the dynamic of ‘congregation’ and its ability to break people out of their echo chambers and to be challenged together. She is concerned not just about the impacts of Coronavirus on live events, but also the effects of digital which democratises access to performance but allow alters its nature.
Her challenge is for think about increasing access to live performance in a digital age – whether this is new methods of creating theatre, an idea for a space or place, and articulation of theatre for wellbeing or inclusivity or a mode of preserving the sense of being part of a theatre audience in a digital age
