In this short specialism, you will learn a little more about game design – whether analogue or digital – and the ways in which games can be used not just for entertainment, but also to education and provoke change.
It consists of two topics. In the first Matteo Menapace, an artist and game designed introduce you to his toolkit and online course to support the construction of games (mainly analogue).
In the second, Computer Science Students Saad Mahmood and Nadeem Iqrah give you a tutorial on the quick prototyping of digital games.
By the end of this specialism, you should be able to respond to project challenges by designing a game which can be played physically or on a computer.
