Detailed Information

For those with an interest in historical preservation and intrigued by a career as an Archivist  this is a great chance to be involved in preserving something of true historical significance that is still having an impact on teaching today. Manchester Metropolitan University is fortunate to house the majority of the works of Dorothy Heathcote an accomplished teacher of theatre and drama who’s ‘Mantle of the Expert’ approach has defined and developed the approach many professionals use today to teach.  The opportunity exists to help preserve the collection ideally through digitalisation as well as creating a clear catalogue of contents for future use. Part of this will involve supporting requests for funding.
